Minutes of the meeting of Lillings Ambo Parish Council held at
‘The Lodge’, West Lilling. On Thursday 28th January 2016 at 6 pm.

District Councillor Eric Hope.
Councillor Hope was welcomed to the meeting. The Chairman explained the Parish Councils concerns regarding the following-
a. The parking of vehicles on the dangerous corner in front of and on the footpath at the new Village Farm’ property’s.
b. No joint meeting has been arranged between the local villages and the Highways Dept.
Councillor Hope is still trying to arrange this.
c. Potholes. When these are reported no work or reply is received. Several repaired potholes now need to be re-repaired due to the bad workmanship.
d. Grates. Are Ryedale District Council planning on cleaning surface water grates after the recent flooding.
e. When restrictions are put on a property by the planning department ( local use) is there any follow up to ensure the restrictions are enforced.
f. Web-site set-up training at Ryedale District Council. The Clerk and Councillor Loynes reported the problems and frustrations with this course.
Councillor Hope listened to the Councils concerns. He will contact the relevant departments and report back to the Council.

Minutes of the meeting held on Thursday 12th November 2015. Minutes previously distributed, discussed approved & signed by the Chairman.

All statements checked.
Audit Update.
The Council was informed of the new Audit system. Once further information has been gained and concerns addressed the council will ’Opt in’ to the new system.
Planning.
1. Mr and Mrs P.Woodhouse. Ambleside.House. 15/01474/HOUSE. Garage extension for storage purposes. Previously discussed by the council who had no objections.
Any Other Business.
1. Bus Service. North Yorkshire County Council have completed their review of all subsided bus services and the 181 is to remain at 5 buses per day running between York and Malton via Sheriff Hutton and Castle Howard. There are small changes to the timetable which will be published in April.
2. The Chairman will contact Mr Colin Johnson regarding continuing as the Internal Auditor for the village.
3. Holiday Park Planning application. This is in Sheriff Hutton Parish. The Lillings Ambo Council were informed on this by District Councillor Eric Hope.
Next Meeting.
The date of the next meeting was agreed for Thursday 5th May 2016. At
‘The Lodge,’ West Lilling, 6-30pm. (This will follow the Annual Parish
Assembly)
